Emerging from Berlin’s vibrant music scene, Kara Delik is an Anatolian post-punk supergroup that fuses dynamic, poly-rhythmic psych-grooves with an electrifying live presence. Since their formation in 2020, this international trio has crafted a contemporary sound that weaves together the rich histories of Anatolian rock, Krautrock, and dub, all delivered with explosive energy.
Comprising Barış Öner on saz, Andi Sommer on bass and synths, and Eilis Frawley on drums, Kara Delik creates an intricate tapestry of sound that resonates with the likes of Lee Scratch Perry and Barış Manço. Their debut EP, Tamam, launched them into the limelight, followed by the ambitious Singularities tetralogy.
Known for their sharp dynamics and spirited performances, Kara Delik captivates audiences at festivals like c/o Pop and Fusion. With more music and an album in the works, they’re set to redefine the landscape of psychedelic sound, inviting listeners on a unique journey.
