Strange flowers, black lipstick, hungry seagulls, wrinkled hands in bathtubs, volcanoes, and murdering cowboys collectively define the world of Ida the Young. In 2023, the band unveiled their debut EP, ‘Strange Shaped Flowers,’ seamlessly merging the genres of indie and folk.
The project originated in Pilsen, initially as a duo with Iris Hobson Mazur (vocals) and Marek Koliha (guitar). It later evolved with the addition of Filip Simon on drums, and now, the band welcomes keyboardist Jakub Richtárech.
