Clara Peya’s music is a force of nature—raw, hypnotic, and deeply moving. As a pianist and composer, she merges jazz, pop, and electronic elements, always with the piano as her gravitational center. Her live performances are pure intensity, where magnetic pianism meets pulsating electronic soundscapes, creating an immersive, electrifying experience. Avant-garde and transgressive, Clara has spent over a decade breaking musical and social barriers, using her artistic vision as a tool for dialogue, growth, and transformation—both individually and collectively.
In 2019, she received the National Culture Award for her musical innovation and activism, reinforcing her commitment to making the invisible visible and advocating for freedom. Together with her sister Ariadna Peya, they have co-founded the theatre, dance and live music company “Les Impuxibles”. Via this outlet, she continuously challenges norms, crafting compositions that transcend genres. With her expressive gestures and bold collaborations, Clara Peya stands among Spain’s most prolific contemporary artists, redefining the boundaries of modern music.
