A steady beat, a deep bassline, a fusion of techno, and a mix of live drums with modular synths—that’s the sound of Bothlane. Belgian musician Alain Deval spent years playing in different projects before starting his own, blending the raw energy of drumming with the pulse of electronic music. Inspired by the underground scenes of London and Berlin, his music bridges the gap between the acoustic and electronic worlds.
His debut album, Stellar Hijinks, released on November 29, 2024. It’s a blend of techno, deep bass, and evolving rhythms, built for the dancefloor. Each track explores different shades of sound, shifting between hypnotic grooves and driving beats. On stage, Bothlane keeps things dynamic, making every live set an unpredictable experience. With his background in both acoustic and electronic music, Alain continues to explore new ways of bringing drums and machines together.
