The improvisational composition by Štefan Szabó employs a unique technique blending traditional notation with graphic and text scores, altering interpretation and understanding at each performance. Influences range from Pauline Oliveros to Milan Adamčiak, with nods to traditional Hungarian-Romanian dance dulcimer music.
The composition “Be-long-ing” will be performed by a string quartet consisting of: Kara Taylor- cello, Jakub Chlepko- viola, Natália Kubalcov- violin, Štefan Szabó- acoustic and electric guitar.
