The SLOWLICK project is a collaboration between long-time friends Andrej and Juraj, united by their shared passion for music. Spanning genres from blues and rock to pop and electronic indie, their music navigates from melancholic to psychedelic harmonies, occasionally transforming into dance beats.
Andrej Gmuca, a graduate in double bass, also serves as an aviator. Juraj Kocnár, a violinist and guitarist, is associated with the Coffee Sheep brand. The lineup includes guitarist Martin Kocnár, drummer Adam Olexík (The Youniverse), horn player Juraj Ofúkaný (Symphonic Orchestra of the Slovak Radio, HMVSR, and others), and singer Jana Salvi (ex-BULP). Together, they form the live band.
SLOWLICK’s debut album received a nomination in the Debut of the Year category at the prestigious Slovak Radio Awards – Radio_Head Awards 2022.
