Meowlau x Val is a drum’n’bass-pop duo consisting of young Slovak musicians Laura Jašková and Valentína Vlková. Meowlau started her career with bass covers of famous songs on Instagram and is behind the electronic production and bass lines in the project. An unmistakable voice and a significant power of making everyone in the audience dance belongs to Val. In their live performances the duo is accompanied by the drummer Martin Miklis. Their debut EP Nevermind from last year caught the attention of the biggest Slovak festivals, and they also were part of the Spotify Equal campaign at New York’s Times Square.
