This Slovak duo got together at the conservatory in Prague. They are among the largest Slovak talents with a great export potential. Professionals in the music industry link Kristína Mihaľová’s velvety singing to Billie Holiday and Jakub Šedivý’s guitar performances to Wes Montgomery. Oliver Rehák (Denník N) described them aptly: “They are in their twenties and make beautiful and musically well-honed songs”. Since July 2020, Lash&Grey have released two successful albums, which gained them Debut of the Year 2020 in the Radio_Head Awards poll and Anděl Award for Best Slovak Album and also Song of the Year 2021 at RHA. In November 2022, they performed at Carnegie Hall in New York with world-renowned musicians Keyon Harrold, Harish Raghavan and Martin Valihora. The duo is currently preparing their third album, and they will present some of their new songsat Sharpe in a special set with guest musicians as Lash & Grey with Strings.
