Newcomers that finally brought some fresh air into the Slovak independent scene! Krstní otcovia (“Godfathers” in English) just recently released their debut EP “References” and in their live sets they repeatedly surprise by transitions from rehearsed arrangements to spontaneous improvisations or by falling into deconstructive progressive rock, similar to Black Midi or Black Country, New Road. “Experimental anarcho post noise art mega kraut punk or showcasecore in short” – this is how Krstní otcovia describe their own music style. We are more than looking forward to hearing their take on showcasecore at SHARPE 2023!
