Phil Taylor

Phil is a freelance music journalist, frequently writing album reviews, interviews and live reports for CLASH as well as DIY, The Line Of Best Fit and his own Music Observer project. He is also one of the music editors at LeftLion magazine in Nottingham, England.
Phil has attended and reviewed many UK and international festivals including Deer Shed, YNOT, Twisterella, Focus Wales, ESNS Eurosonic and Way Out West, and has appeared on regional radio and acted as judge at Battle of the Bands and other industry events.
Phil is based in the small county of Rutland in England’s East Midlands, and spends lots of time listening to music and attending gigs in Nottingham, Leicester and London.
