Stevie D’Arcy

Stevie D’Arcy is a musician, educator and arts professional, with over 15 years’ experience working in the music industry. With his band THUMPER, Stevie has toured across Europe and the UK several times and has worked on various release campaigns.
In addition to his artistic output, Stevie works with First Music Contact, the Arts Council funded national resource organisation for musicians and the independent music sector, which runs the Irish Music Export Office, Music From Ireland, the online music portal Breaking Tunes, and the annual music industry showcase Ireland Music Week.
Stevie’s main projects with First Music Contact are the Regional Development Plan – a project that works with local arts offices to provide a high level of professional development to professional musicians across the island of Ireland – and the conference production for Ireland Music Week, an annual showcase of 50 export-ready, Irish acts with over 100 international music industry delegates in attendance.
