Kat Jarby
(Kaja MANAGEMENT, DK)
Kat Jarby is an artist manager, musical curator, and certified coach. Since 2013, Kat has run and developed the company Kaja MANAGEMENT, which represents some of Denmark’s most innovative and interesting artists in the experimental music scene and has developed and led a wide range of conceptual projects and events.
Kat has worked in music for more than 15 years, specializing in music marketing, with a degree from the University of Brighton, UK. Kat is also a certified coach and has coached over a hundred artists and bands in areas such as career planning and communication.
One of Kat’s key focuses is mental well-being in the music industry — both on stage and behind the scenes — and in connection with this, has written columns, participated in debates, given presentations, and discussed the topic on national TV.
Kat Jarby is also the chairperson of the newly established association for artist managers in Denmark, Danske Artist Managers (DAM).
