Formed in January 2024 in Gothenburg, Sylvie’s Head channel the pulse of their industrial hometown into a sound that refuses to sit still. Their music crashes through hard breakbeats and chainsaw guitars, slips into balearic house euphoria, and detonates in unpredictable dub-rock chaos — party-adjacent rock & roll dance music at full throttle.
The 2025 debut EP Sharp Shooter, alongside a bold cover of Psychic TV’s “Godstar,” marked them as a band with both taste and teeth. The releases earned a nomination for Best in Rock at the Manifest Awards — Sweden’s indie Grammys — confirming the buzz surrounding their explosive live presence.
Their debut album arrives in 2026 via Welfare Sounds & Records, accompanied by tour dates across the UK and Europe.
Sylvie’s Head aren’t retro, ironic, or nostalgic. They are urgent, ecstatic and happening right now.
