The Dystopic Requiem Quartet will present the musical work Black Angels Songs and the composition ‘Nénia pre Ukrajinu’ (Nénia for Ukraine). Nénia means grief or pain over death, a funeral song, but also an ancient cry. The song was recorded on the third day after the outbreak of war in Ukraine. Miroslav Tóth and the quartet immediately reacts and condemns the Russian aggression. The grief is expressed here by the helplessness and impossibility of stopping the murder of the innocent immediately.
