Mauricio Lizarazo Prada is an intercultural music producer, activist and founder of Pachamama Culture, a sustainability-oriented, international project that focuses on tour management, live music production and the promotion of bands, live acts and solo artists with social responsibility. Mauricio is a graduate in business administration and has a masters degree in music business from New York University. After completing his bachelor degree, he initially worked for the BASF group as a marketing product manager before founding Pachamama Culture. In addition, Mauricio is co-founder of “Salon de Baile” at Fusion Festival, for which he was responsible for the program, curation and production of this Latin-Alternative Floor. Consequently he became part of the festival’s main crew. Since then he has toured and produced live shows for several bands internationally including Ohrbooten, Lola Marsh, Garden City Movement, Ninet Tayeb a.o. Through his work at Pachamama Culture, Mauricio has focused on climate and socio-economic justice in the music industry and is currently developing a sustainability model in live-music business that promotes culture, independent artists and solidarity initiatives under fair and sustainable conditions.
