FIRST LINE UP ARTISTS OF SHARPE 2025 ANNOUNCED!

Let’s start looking forward to the seventh edition of the showcase festival and conference with the first seven names revealed in the SHARPE 2025 lineup. The open call for music projects is still accepting applications, and voting is open for the SHARPE festival in the European Festival Awards.

FIRST “LUCKY 7” FOR THE 7TH EDITION OF THE SHARPE FESTIVAL

Among the first new additions to the lineup is Božské Soaré (SK) – a newly formed project by Richard Grimm (known as Boh Vajec) and Dominik Novák (Katov Syn(th)), shaping up as an ambient electroacoustic duo. Another confirmed act is the young four-member band Eversame (SK), known for their raw energy and melancholic vocals. Also joining the lineup is Bratislava-based producer Nearev (SK), whose sets blend hard dance, breakbeat, and trance; she has performed alongside well-known names on the club scene, including Taahliah, Kamafaka, KI/KI, Yung Singh, and Istanbul Ghetto Club.

From the Czech Republic, the young band Fumar Mata (CZ) will be coming to Sharpe. With their stage charisma and atmospheric presence, they evoke California’s The Brian Jonestown Massacre and explore the world of neo-psychedelia. The post-punk slot will be filled by Kara Delik (DE) from Berlin. Described as the “twilight samurai of alternative pop,” artist Mart Avi (EE), a longtime figure on Estonia’s underground scene, will also be performing; he has previously played in Taiwan and the Netherlands and will make an appearance at Sharpe in April. The Hungarian group Freakin’ Disco (HU) will energize the audience with psychedelic grooves that feel out of this world.

ARTISTS’ OPEN CALL FOR SHARPE 2025 IS STILL OPEN

Applications for artists interested in performing at Sharpe 2025 are open until November 17, 2024. Bands and solo music projects can apply by completing the application form. The festival’s bookers will review applicants’ recordings and presentations and will contact the selected bands or solo projects by the end of January 2024 at the latest. Performers will receive accommodation, technical support, a performance fee, catering, and, of course, access to the full festival and conference program.

The conference segment of the SHARPE 2025 festival will showcase the latest topics and trends in the music and creative industries, offering expert insights from music professionals from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and beyond.
