Blending alternative R&B with genre-defying production, Negro Impacto are an independent Irish duo steadily shaping a distinct space in contemporary music. Formed by Chi-chi and multi-instrumentalist StrangeLove after a chance meeting at a skatepark, the Dundalk-based project combines soulful vocals with influences spanning gospel, rock, and experimental pop.
Their dynamic live performances—expanded with a full band—have taken them to stages such as Primavera Pro, Other Voices, and Electric Picnic, as well as international shows in London and Prague. They have also supported artists including Madness, Ojerime, and STRFKR, and performed for the President of Ireland.
Recent releases have gained strong editorial support, with placements across Spotify and television. Their sophomore EP TV Dreams continues to expand their reach, marking them as one of Ireland’s more compelling emerging acts.
