Ondrej Rudavsky was born into an artistic family in 1966 in Bratislava, Slovakia. From 1978 to 1982, he studied at the High School of Art in Bratislava, before continuing his studies at the Academy of Art in Prague from 1984 to 1986.

Rudavsky is a polymath in the truest sense of the word. His diverse portfolio includes film, animation, painting, video installation, digital art, sculpture, jewelry, and illustration. In each of these mediums, he creates surreal, dreamlike worlds that invite the viewer to journey beyond the boundaries of the rational mind.

His experimental films have premiered at acclaimed festivals such as Sundance, the New York Film Festival at Lincoln Center, the Annecy Film Festival, the Hiroshima Film Festival, and Burning Man.
He has received numerous awards, including an MTV Award, Golden Eagle Award, Monitor Award, and a Grammy nomination for his animated music videos for artists like Moby, Los Lobos, and Dead Can Dance. Rudavský’s visionary design work extends beyond animation to include artistic visuals and creative direction for icons such as Esperanza Spalding, Jodie Foster, Lisa Bonet (Lilakoi Moon), Wayne Shorter, Linkin Park, Black Eyed Peas, Yellowcard, Jana Kirschner, Richard Muller & Iva Bittova, Laurence Fishburne, and many others.
