
Michal Pařízek
(Full Moon magazine, CZ)
Michal is a music and arts journalist, radio DJ and an event promoter. In 2010 he co-founded Full Moon magazine and has been editor-in-chief since 2014. Full Moon is a printed monthly magazine and a vast online platform based in Prague covering mostly (but not only) independent artists who push the boundaries of music and art in one way or another, both local and international music scenes as well as what is going on in the field of film, literature and art. Full Moon has also collaborated with a number of important European festivals. In 2018 and 2019 the magazine was awarded the Press of the Year award at the Nouvelle Prague showcase.
Michal also works as a curator of the Full Moon Stage at Colours of Ostrava festival (since 2013) and other festivals. In 2020 he co-founded the Moody Moon Noize festival. In 2020, he published the book Uprostřed příběhu (In the Middle of the Story) and contributed to several other books as well. Since 2014, he has also been an active member of various grant committees of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, the Prague City Hall and Slovak Arts Council.
