DJ and journalist Jimi Arundell is currently based in the Midlands, U.K. He began as a gig promoter and managing director of Red Letter Nights, with his very first event being the sole organiser of a major Love Music Hate Racism festival before advancing as a nationwide DJ and now currently occupies a residency at Pressure at Rescue Rooms, Nottingham – the biggest regular indie / alternative night in a city renowned for its pedigree music scene.

His articles have been published in NME, Gigwise, FMS Magazine, Under The Radar and Drowned in Sound as well as being invited as a guest speaker on BBC Radio Nottingham. His work focusses on reviewing new music releases, live shows and the European festival circuit plus interviewing crucial performing artists.

Recently, he hosted livestreamed music festival To Hull And Back which featured performances from sixteen acts simultaneously playing two separate cities including vital new multimedia centre Fishergate Point, Nottingham and iconic venue The New Adelphi Club found in his hometown Hull. He also works as the Web Content Manager and blogger for Gigantic Tickets.
