Codruta is the founder of ARTmania, one of Romania’s most established events with its 15th edition scheduled for 2022 (after a two year hiatus due to Covid 19 restrictions, promoting mainly rock & metal acts. She is also founder of Blaj aLive Festival, launched in 2013, with focus on alternative & world music. The two boutique festivals are hosted in Transylvania.

In 2017, Codruta and her team launched the East European Music Conference & Showcase Festival to start a healthy debate between the Romanian music private sector, international experts and state authorities.

In 2019, Codruta was contracted by the Romanian Greek Catholic Church to plan and organize the Sunday Mass held by Pope Francis during his historic visit to Romania, on June 02, on the Liberty Field. 

Codruta holds a MA in Art Photography & Art History, from the National University of Arts, Bucharest. In 2017, she started her PhD research on “Festival culture and public policies at national & EU level”.
After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Codruta is spearheading the launch of a job platform called ARTery that aims to help uprooted Ukrainians from the live music industry find work in other countries. ARTery is a pan-European movement, a partnership between several European cultural players, committed to supporting artists and professionals from the creative sectors fleeing from conflict areas to resume their lives with dignity in adopting countries.
